Holeby Rejsestald — Farm Camping and Stays

We offer a maximum of three private camping areas surrounded by grass, trees and farm gardens. There is plenty of distance between guests, and each group travelling together is treated as one camp.

• Electricity is intended for ordinary camping equipment. Charging electric cars or plug-in hybrid vehicles is not permitted.
• There is currently no facility for emptying chemical toilets or grey water.

Our cyclist price includes the tent/camp pitch. Cyclists and hikers are welcome with tents, hammocks or other simple sleeping equipment. You may choose one of our green camping areas and use the hot shower, toilet, guest kitchenette and covered terrace. There is space for bicycles, and a basic workshop area with a compressor and pressure gauge is available.

• Add €5 if electricity is required.
• Groups travelling and camping together are treated as one camp, even when they use more than one small tent.

Motorcyclists are welcome with tents, rooftop equipment or small camping trailers. Hot shower, toilet, kitchenette, drinking water and covered seating are included.

The small single room is located on the first floor of the farmhouse. It is a simple and very compact room suitable for a solo traveller who would like a real bed.

• The toilet and hot shower are located downstairs in the farmhouse and are shared with the host.
• This room is particularly suitable for solo cyclists, motorcyclists, early-ferry travellers and guests affected by poor weather.

The large guest room is located on the first floor and offers more space for one or two travellers. The balcony has a table and chairs and overlooks the green farm surroundings.

• The toilet and hot shower are located downstairs and are shared with the host.
• Breakfast or an evening meal may be available by prior agreement.

Holeby Rejsestald offers overnight accommodation for travellers transporting horses between continental Europe and Scandinavia. We currently have two horse boxes available.

• Guests should normally bring their own feed and hay.
• Horse accommodation must be booked in advance.

Holeby Rejsestald offers quiet private stays for writers, thesis students, researchers, journalists, podcasters, academics, consultants and project developers. During a retreat stay, the entire first floor is reserved for the guest. No other overnight guests are accommodated upstairs.

• The bathroom with toilet and hot shower is downstairs and is shared with the host. Campers use separate facilities.
• A second guest sharing the double room can be added by agreement.

A separate office building is available by prior arrangement. The workspace currently supports podcast and spoken-word recording. More professional audio and video equipment may be added as the facilities develop.

The host has an academic background and professional experience as a subject editor. A non-disclosure agreement can be signed before confidential material is shared. Documents will not be shared with third parties or processed using external AI services without the author's written permission.

• A written quotation is provided according to the length, language, complexity and requested level of editing.

Guests staying in the farmhouse or attending a retreat may order an evening meal by prior arrangement. The guest may choose to eat privately or share the meal with the host, and may choose complete privacy, informal conversation or a planned discussion about a project, manuscript or idea.

• Special diets must be agreed in advance.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome. Dogs must be kept under control and may not roam freely because chickens and other animals live on the farm. Movable outdoor dog pens made from approximately one-metre-high livestock hurdles may be available. The pens are intended for supervised use and are not escape-proof.

Practical services for guests and retreat visitors. Up to 25 ordinary black-and-white prints and small scanning tasks may be included in selected retreat packages.
